John M. Oakes, President
Mr. Oakes joined
Microdyne in July 1998 and has held senior management positions
in outsourcing since 1990. His experience with building infrastructure
for web, data and voice-based services, including technical support,
customer relationship management (CRM) and IT management honed
the leadership skills that have helped propel L-3 Microdyne to
the forefront of our industry. Mr. Oakes began his outsourcing
career by successfully deploying computer-telephony integration
technologies during his tenure as President and CEO of TeleServ
Corporation, a provider of outsourced customer service and help
desk services to Fortune 500 clients, from 1990 to 1998. From 1986-1990,
he was Director of the BankHouse Exchange, Inc. a Boston-based
merchant bank, where he specialized in developing the firm's investor
base. From 1981-1986, Mr. Oakes was a senior consultant specializing
in financial and market strategy for the Citadel Group. He first
began his career with Chase Manhattan Bank and was a member of
Chase's banking staff from 1969 through 1980, where he served in
various managerial positions as an international commercial banker
including assignments in London and Tokyo. He holds a B.S. degree
in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. |

Kim Williams, Vice President/General Manager
- Contact Center Services
Ms. Williams
joined L-3Microdyne through its acquisition of Envisionet in September 2001.
From the outset, Ms. Williams’ focus was on the development of Microdyne's
account management division. This function is attributed with setting the
standard
for the exceptional level of service Microdyne’s clients are accustomed
to today. As General Manager, Ms. Williams is also responsible for all of the
Orono operations. Prior to joining Microdyne, Ms. Williams was employed by Envisionet
Computer Corporation as VP Account Management, Manufacturer's Services Inc. as
WW Program Manager, and Intelligent Controls, as VP Manufacturing Operations. |

David Spear, Director of Logistics and Repair
Services
As Director of Repair
Center Operations, Mr. Spear oversees our reverse logistics operations in
Ohio. Mr. Spear joined L-3 Microdyne with a decade of experience in operations
management. Most recently, he served as Manager of Distribution for SGI from
1999-2001. During his eleven year career with Vanstar, Mr. Spear served as
Outbound Operations Manager, Area Project Manager and Director of Operations
for the Microsoft contract. Mr. Spear holds a Bachelor of Science degree
from Indiana University. |

Milton I. Shearer, Human Resources Director
Mr.
Shearer joined L-3Microdyne in June of 1997. He now directs the
development of Microdyne's Human Resource efforts at all company
locations. His focus has been to develop a network of results oriented
Human Resources teams skilled in the support of a diverse employee
and client base. Prior to his current position, Mr. Shearer managed
Microdyne's Human Resource team in it's insourced operation in
Indianapolis, Indiana. Before beginning his career at L-3 Microdyne,
Mr. Shearer served in a series of senior Human Resource management
positions spanning some 17 years. While holding positions with
the Houghton Mifflin Company and RCA Corporation, he designed Human
Resource functions in support of numerous business profiles including
Customer Service and Support, Fulfillment and Logistics and Manufacturing.
Mr. Shearer holds a BS degree from
Taylor University.

Gene Schiappa, Vice President of Finance
Mr. Schiappa’s
financial leadership at L-3 Microdyne is backed by over twenty
years of financial management experience in the manufacturing and
services industries. Prior to joining Microdyne, Mr. Schiappa was
Controller of L-3 Communications, Inc. - Ocean Systems Division,
where he was responsible for the financial management of three
subsidiaries. Prior to L-3 Oceans Systems, Mr. Schiappa was CFO
of Adams Rite Sabre International, a privately held manufacturer
of fluid controls for the transportation industry. Mr. Schiappa
holds a BS in Finance from California State University, Pomona
and
an MBA from the University of Laverne. |

Bernie Huckestein, Director of Sales and
Marketing
Mr. Huckestein is L-3 Microdyne’s Director of Sales and Marketing.
He has enjoyed tremendous success in the B2B sales and marketing
arena for over 20 years. Much of this experience included key positions
for companies like: Applied Systems Associates, Computer Associates
International, and Marcam Solutions. Part of Bernie’s mission
here is to leverage this experience in the development and execution
of L-3 Microdyne’s value-focused, business model. Bernie
brings a unique ability identify client returns and ensure project
success. Additionally, Mr. Huckestein holds a Bachelor of Science,
Computer Science / Mathematics from Edinboro University, and Masters
in Business Administration course work from Duquesne University.

Paul Karch - Vice President - Business Development
Mr. Karch is a sales, marketing, and business strategy leader
with an established reputation for inventive solutions and distinguishable
approaches to achieving both internal and client organizational
goals. An entrepreneurially driven and internationally savvy executive,
who has defined, launched and managed global business expansion
strategies.Mr. Karch is also a recognized leader in distinctive
and cost-effective technology solutions for US government organizations
and is a featured speaker and writer of cutting-edge trends in
the business of technology. Prior to L-3 Microdyne Outsourcing,
Mr. Karch was President / CEO of a management consulting firm DPL
Solutions LLC. Before founding DPLS, Mr. Karch enjoyed a successful
tenure as National Director Business Development for Information
Technology Services for L-3 Government Services Inc. another L-3
Communications division. |
